Our annual arts and crafts local food festival! Come out and see your favorite local artist! Pottery, sea-glass, jewelry, photography, clothing, soaps, art, and much more! This year we will have “BIG THUNDER ROADSIDE KITCHEN” SoDel Concepts restaurant on wheels. Big Thunder has mastered the art of the Backyard BBQ and Fish Fry! The SoDel crew will be serving up some great food during the entire event! The Birch Tree Cafe will be open all day for awesome gluten free lunch as well! Come out and bring a friend, support local artists, and stay for lunch!

Art’s Alive celebrates 14 years as Ocean City’s biggest and best fine art show. What could be better than fine art at the beach? How about fine art for sale around a beautiful lagoon in a picturesque park with expansive bay views. Visit 100 artists as they sell their works, lunch at the Artists’ Café and enjoy live music while your children enjoy free art activities. Art’s Alive is the art show that has something for everyone.

Earth Day
Come and celebrate mother earth on Saturday, April 26th 10am-4pm. There will be environmental activities, games and demonstrations that will help raise awareness about the world we live in. Over 20 Earth-friendly exhibitors will be on hand to educate about how you can become an environmental steward.

The exhibit will be on display at The Worcester County Art Council Gallery in Berlin, MD.
In celebration of Earth Day, observed during the month of April, our Gallery presents an Artist Choice, juried art exhibit: " Earth - Through the Artist's Eye", featuring original work in all media submitted by professional, amateur, and student artists.
Submitted entries for this competition reflect artist’s representation of nature, the environment, green health and lifestyle, recycling and sustainable practices and many include recycled materials such as wood, metal, stone, used glass, paper, fabric, pottery or plastic.
Artwork was reviewed and judged by Kate Patton, Executive Director of the Lower Shore Land Trust.
First place was awarded to Jennie Doll for her oil on birch wood painting: "The Nahimana", second went to Judy Benton for her mixed media painting: "Reaching for a Foundation", and third to Mitzi Ash for "Earth, Wind, & Fire" mixed media entry created with branch, recycled silk, buttons, and ribbons.
Three honorable mention awards were given to: Myrna Mc Grath, Sarah Halcott, and Monika Lilley.

The 35th Annual Art’s Festival in downtown Bethany Beach will be held September 7, 2013 from 10am-5pm. This year’s event will include over 100 fine artists that will be featuring paintings, word work, metal, clay, baskets, jewelry, porcelain and more! The Chamber is looking to expand the festival to include more attractions to more parts of the town; such as a Farmer’s Market, wine tasting & children’s corner. Make sure you mark your calendar for the exciting event!
Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival

The Art League of Ocean City, MD will hold its annual Plein Air Paint Out on August 8-11, 2013 during the heart of the resort town's tourist season. Artists will be painting at the beach, on the boardwalk, bayside and in the OC and West OC harbors from dawn to dusk.
